Hi. Thanks for using JA! I will try and help you out.

Could you get me your engine serial number please?

May I ask what kind of problem you are having with your engine?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I don't have the serial number. My truck is parked elsewhere. The truck is losing oil somewhere internally---no leaks. It has had a hard starting problem since the water pump went bad.

I see. It is possible that th o rings are causing this. If they are you should have black fuel from the oil going into the fuel. Do you know if the fuel has a black tint to it?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
yes

I see. I will get the procedure to replace the o rings. I will be back in a few minutes.

what about copper? on the injector
Expert:  Cat Man replied 6 years ago.

I assume you are referring to copper injector cups, correct?

If so, your truck is a 2003, it has stainless steel injector cups. Not copper cups. They just need to be cleaned with a brush.
