Customer: We are doing an overhaul on our ISX engine. We have the repair manual, but it does not contain certain specs. Can you help? We need the specs for the crankshaft main bearing journal (diameter of a new one with the wear tolerance), rod bearing journal (same as previous). We also need the specs for the camshafts including the 7 possible specs for the injector cam AND for each lobe, plus the 7 possible specs for the valve cam including the spec(s) for the lobe. Hoping to get the original journal diameters then the wear tolerances.
We also thought Cummins might have a book for these kind of specs that we can get. That would be even better. Please respond ASAP.

Measure the outside diameter of the seven valve camshaft bearing journals.

Hi there Jed and Karrie Shafford. I was gonna say if crankshaft is out of those specs it will need to be replaced. Same thing on camshaft also. Another thing also is here is cummins site to check out . https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html . You can go down to create a account.
