I can think of several things to check, it seems your machine begins to run bad after it warms up or gets hot.
1. Check the fuel. Make sure that the previous owner did not fill it with gasoline. It is very common for the Kubota engine to run okay with gasoline in the tank, then run rough after it warms up.
2. Make sure the belt to the right angle fan drive is connected. You should feel air blowing out of the sides of the Bobcat just behind the seat, out of the vents. It is common for this belt to be broken causing overheating and poor performance.
3. If your engine has overheated, it is common on the Kubota to crack the head. I hope this isn't the case. If you have access to a cooling system pressure tester, using it may tell you if the head is cracked.
I'm going by the assumption that you have engine problems here. Get back if you think it may be a hydraulic or hydrostatic issue, like the engine runs fine but it does not drive well, for example, or on anything else.
It is normal for engine oil to spurt from the dipstick hole when running. I do not recommend that you pull the dipstick when the engine is running on the Kubota engine, they have a habit of the crankshaft grabbing and bending or breaking the dipstick.

I overlooked and have been reminded by another expert that you should also check your fuel tank cap, to make sure it is vented and that the vent is working.
An unvented or plugged vent in the cap will cause this also.
