Can I give my 6 year old Tylenol after I gave her dimetapp? She also had Advil at about 4:00.

Doctor's Assistant: When did your 6-year-old start using Advil? How severe were any side effects?

She used it today for fever

Doctor's Assistant: Has she seen a doctor about the fever?

No just got it last night in middle of the night so I haven’t taken her in yet

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in her medical history you think the doctor should know?

She has had a febrile seizure but when she was 3. Has not had one since

There would be no adverse interactions between the Dimetapp and Tylenol and since it's been a while since she had the Advil it would be fine to give her the Tylenol now

Please let me know if you need any more information

I feel better already! Thank you.

ElanorTracy, CA

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.

John and StefanieTucson, AZ

I have been dealing with an extremely serious health crisis for over three years, and one your physicians asked me more questions, gave me more answers and encouragement than a dozen different doctors who have been treating me!!
