Dear *****ient, if you can take them together, but I suggest you take them at least 1 hour apart because they are antibiotics, since they do not affect stomach acidity. I also suggest starting daily with a gastric protector such as Omeprazole 20 mg daily while using antibiotics.

Patient was at family physician last Monday who prescribed Keflex three times a day, patient was at emergency room this past Thursday, they did a Doppler study of the leg and there was no abnormalities found, did a Doppler of the swollen reddened area on top of the foot, there is no abscess noted. Doesn't seem to be much of an improvement with elevation and foot soaks and both antibiotics.

hi

Do you have a fever, pain?
Is the foot warm?

Ask Your Own Health Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
No pain no fever foot is only mildly warm normal to the touch

Due to the symptoms that you mention in this case, a superficial infectious process such as cellulite is impressed, the treatment with Keflex is very good.
It should be kept for 7 days and should be evaluated 72 hours after starting the antibiotic.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.

John and StefanieTucson, AZ

I have been dealing with an extremely serious health crisis for over three years, and one your physicians asked me more questions, gave me more answers and encouragement than a dozen different doctors who have been treating me!!
