No symptoms yet. She took it about 25 min ago.
Yes, we have a bp monitor. She checked it. It was 118 over 87.

Sorry for late reply and inconvenience.
Thanks for the follow-up.
I understand your concern.
As per your description, such 20 mg dose of Amlodipine can cause dizziness, lightheadedness.

This is not a large dose, and food slows down the absorption.

However still advise to monitor her blood pressure at regular intervals.

Maintain a good hydration.

And if her blood pressure'll be lower than 90/60 mm Hg then give her coffee, gatorade and small snacks every 2 hourly.

Elevate her legs.

Miss her next dose if blood pressure'll be lower than 120/80 mm Hg.

Feel free for further queries. It's good to discuss rather than quit.

We don't have coffee or Gatorade. Will other caffeine drinks work as well (tea, Crystal Light w/caffeine)?
Is there a point of low blood pressure that requires going to the ER? Her most recent bp check is 110/88.
Can she go to sleep now if I wake her up every 2-3 hours to check her bp?

Thank you for replying back.

Yes you can give her tea, Crystal Light w/caffeine.

Give her home made oral rehydration solution(6 tsp of Sugar,1/2 level teaspoon of Salt in One Litre).

Elevate her legs while sleeping.

And wake her to monitor her blood pressure 3 hourly.
I hope this answers your question. If you would like to discuss this further or have any additional questions, please reply to my answer and I will get right back to you.
Please avoid poor/bad rating.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.

John and StefanieTucson, AZ

I have been dealing with an extremely serious health crisis for over three years, and one your physicians asked me more questions, gave me more answers and encouragement than a dozen different doctors who have been treating me!!
