As per your description, it appears hot flashes.

You should apply cool compresses on face with cold water.

Also maintain a good hydration with Gatorade.

Avoid Hot and spicy foods, caffeinated beverages.

Do deep breathing.

Wear loose fitted cotton fabric.

Avoid any make-up for a while.

Take rest.

what causes the hot flashes though?

Hot flashes can be cause due to hormonal imbalance,fluctuation in body temperature control,food triggers like caffeine,hot,spicy food,infection,stress and anxiety.

Sometimes cause is unknown also.

Try such self care remedies for few days.
