Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

This is likely inflammation of the bursa around the elbow or bursitis. Bursa is a fluid filled joint sac supposed to provide cushion. Bursa can get inflamed from excessive elbow use sometimes causing swelling. Pain may not always be present. Can be drained by your doctor or orthopedic surgeon as treatment. Please avoid resting your elbow against hard surface. You can use elbow brace. Icing may help reducing the welling.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
