The hospital said there was a stich in my mothers feeding

the hospital said there was a stich in my mothers feeding tube thru it and blocking it and don't know why it there when they sent my mother to the er from the nursing home so is there any reason someone would have to put said stitch thru side of tube and out the other blocking meds and feeding not long ways rather side to side and leaking?
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: she takes pain meds , blood thinners ect thru feeding tube thru belly to stomach
