Right leg from the to the bottom of right foot feels hot

Right leg from the butt to the bottom of right foot feels hot inside and cool to touch on the out side the foot is very tender to touch on the top of foot and ankle has a puffy pocket. I am 70 years old and work full time standing all day. This is a very different type of feeling, should I be worried about heart ????

No diabetes, not warm outside bfeels hot inside.this has been going on since I got off work last night. No redness . Yes lower back or buttock hurts

As per your description,such hot sensation inside with lower back pain and buttock so possibly it's nerve irritation at lumbosacral spine resulting in radiating sensation.

It is caused due to prolonged hours of standing.

Also your top of foot and ankle is tender to touch with puffy pocket so it indicates fluid retention.

I would advise you to take OTC Advil.

Also do gentle massage with topical diclofenac sodium ointment on affected sites.

Elevate and stretch your legs.

Avoid standing for a long period of time.

Monitor your blood pressure.

Limit your salt intake.

Eat a bland diet.

Also maintain a good hydration.

Physical therapy can be helpful.

If your symptoms'll not show any improvement then see your doctor for a clinical exam.
