Thank you. I have swollen, red, itchy legs for the past day

Customer Question

Thank you. I have swollen, red, itchy legs for the past day or two. I had been recovering from some back problems and found myself sitting and watching TV a lot, so I thought the swelling was probably from that. But the last couple of days the itching is constant. Also the sunburn part of my forearm is now red and somewhat itchy. I have applied Eucerin but don't know what else to use. Can you help me, please? What is it?
JA: How long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the itch better or worse?
Customer: Scratching makes it momentarily better of course. The Eucerin seems to help and the itching is less intense. What causes this?
JA: Is there anything else in your medical history you would like the doctor to know?
Customer: I don't have diabetis (sorry for the spelling) but I am overweight. My blood pressure is fine under medication. I have lousy skeletal structures, bad back, both knees and shoulder joints replaced. Does that help?
