Hello again,
I was waiting for your reply.

I am sorry for your symptoms.
Cough for such long period can be from a few causes.
There can be a chronic infection.
Allergy, asthma can cause it.
Chronic bronchitis, emphysema, growth can be there.
Sometimes, heart issues like failure may be associated with chronic cough.
Yellow color is often from a bacterial infection.
Brownish or blackish color can be from altered blood in sputum.
I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.
You can need a few tests like chest X ray, CT, sputum test, lung function tests. blood work etc.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Wish your early recovery.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
