The fever may be treated with dosing Tylenol and MOTRIN alternating these at 2 hour intervals

A tepid bath may help as well

Your grandchild needs to be checked

A fever that high always warrants the child being seen to try and identify the CAUSE of the fever !!

What is childs age?

Any symptoms? Sore throat ? Cough ?

Rash on skin ? Headache?

Frequent urination ?

Abdominal pain?

Let me know what details that you can and I will be happy to get back with you...

Hello again ,

Ok I see three year old child ...

Still with fever THAT HIGH -- the child needs to be checked ...

Most routine / common viral illness would NOT cause THAT HIGH OF FEVER

We have to worry about something possibly more serious --- strep throat can cause e fever that high

A kidney infection could / pneumonia could ..

Some pediatricians may see some patients as work in on a Saturday but you may need to take child to ER to be checked

I hope that this is helpful for you

Best regards!
