My son in law broke his leg badly playing softball 6 weeks

Customer Question

My son in law broke his leg badly playing softball 6 weeks ago. 9 screws a plate and a rod.
What he failed tell his doctor or anyone else is that he also received a major impact to his groin area.
After a month he finally reported to his doctor that he could not get an erection. He is a Type on Diabetic and drinks a lot. The doctor prescribed him Viagra. His insurance doesn't cover this expense so he has not tried it.
He finally told my daughter that since the accident he is having trouble urinating. He demonstrated this to her.the man is circumsized yet my daughter reports to me that his penis receded into itself as he tried to urinate. It took fifteen minutes to relive himself. I am concerned.

Thank you for all the information,
I am sorry for his symptoms.
There can be a few possibilities.
There can be erection problem in diabetes.
Diabetic neuropathy can be a problem.
Well control of glucose level would help.
In some cases there can be injury to nerve.
This needs to be ruled out as he had an accident.
I am again sorry for his problem.
He needs an evaluation by an urologist.
He may need urine test, ultrasound, scan, metabolic panel.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Wish him early recovery.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
