I have a half circle rash on my neck that I can't seem to

Customer Question

I have a half circle rash on my neck that I can't seem to get rid of. Tried several different creams and nothing seems to work. I tried Cort ozone, calamity lotion , anti fungal. It will calm down for a couple days then reappear. And it also itches. It started after I got a hair cut. Please help
JA: How long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the itch better or worse?
Customer: This gel that mom gave me. But it only calms the itching momentarily. It does not get rid of it.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Nope. And I have had the rash for about 2 weeks now

I have been having this issue for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have tried everything from cortisone, calamine lotion , anti fungal. It just calms down for about a day or so then reappears. I dnt have insurance so I have not been able to see a doctor.

Thank you for all the information,
There can be a few possibilities.
There can be allergy, dermatitis.
There can be a fungal infection too.
Those can recur & can need long term treatment.
Oral antifungal drugs can be required too.
You can try zyrtec or claritin in addition to cortizone, antifungal creams.
I would suggest to take an examination in a free clinic too.
Skin scraping for test, oral antifungals can be required.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
Please rate my answer excellent if you are satisfied with it.
