Customer Question

Hi I have blood pressure reading of 190/120 taken by my boss. I work in a PT office. Can I wait until morning to go to urgent care?
JA: Is this consistent, or is there some fluctuation in blood pressure?
Customer: No something new, high stress past few weeks, Hypothyroid med change a month ago ( increase), biopsy last month for breast cancer. Friday went to chiropractor and he took BP and it was 174/87
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Hello and thanks for your question.
It's my first priority to help you.

I understand your concern.

As per your description, such 190/120 mm Hg is considered emergency hypertension and it shouldn't be ignored and I would advise you not to wait and see a doctor at ER ASAP to prevent complications like Ischemic heart disease,Stroke.

You may require anti-hypertensive medicines ASAP.

And your kidney function test,EKG must be done.
