I have had severe stomach upset off an on for a few months and test do not show up anything wrong,it is really upsetting me as I seem to get better for a while,then it comes back,please help me

Maintain healthy weight.Excess pounds put pressure on your abdomen, pushing up your stomach and causing acid to back up into your esophagus. If you are overweight or obese, work to slowly lose weight.

Avoid heavy meal at night.

Avoid fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine.

Elevate the head of your bed by 6 to 9 inches.

Continue with the medications prescribed.
