Customer Question

I felt a movement to my neck around 10:30. It was quick like in my vein. Just don't want it to be a blood clot. My head is hurting now because I am stressed. Should I be worried?
JA: How long have you been dealing with this issue? Are you experiencing any numbness or tingling? It's hard to know for sure. The Doctor will figure it out.
Customer: Yes I have tingling in my head. Throbbing at times. One side of my face is feeling different from the other side (my cheeks).
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I have recently been diagnosed with hob around 3 weeks ago.. I just took my pressure around 1am to make sure it wasn't high. It was 116 over 78. Normal.

I am 40 years old. I can move my neck but it feels different from the left side. Sort of a still throbbing feeling inside my neck.

I have concerns that it is a blood clot. Or do you think it could be nothing to worry about?

Thanks for the follow-up.
I understand your concern.

As per your description, possible differential diagnosis trigeminal neuralgia, carotid artery stenosis, aneurysm.

So you should take OTC Aspirin.

And see a doctor at ER rather than wait.

Gentle massage with topical diclofenac sodium can be tried.
