It can be enlarged papilla of tongue. Papilla can be prominent from different causes. It can get enlarged from an inflammation. Trauma or irritation can cause it. Sometimes, deficiency states can cause it. Hormonal fluctuation, gi upsets, stress, foods, allergy can be factors. However, there can be other issues too. I would suggest to take an examination by doctor. Treatment would depend on the precise cause.
