JA: How long have you been dealing with the issue? In general, how has your health been lately?
Customer: It's been going on for about a month now. Once in a while, sh also has to urinate every 5 minutes when she goes swimming

This can be simple irritation, or infection, or an anatomical problem.

Has she been examined by her doctor?

I suspect this is a contact irritation, for example, from chlorine in the pool.
