My right ankle is swollen last night, was fine this a.m.

Customer Question

my right ankle is swollen last night, was fine this a.m. when I got up and now it is swollen again. I also have vericose veins in my calf on that leg, but not so much on my left leg. I have great health and no high blood pressure or anything like that. don't take any meds except occasionally Nyquill. what is causing this?
JA: When was last time you had a check up? Is there a history of high blood pressure in your family?
Customer: no history of blood pressure. my dad and his side all died of heart attacks. mom's side all live to 90's.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: dad's side all drank heavy and smoked tho. I don't drink or smoke. health is good.
