Customer Question

Hello 3 days ago I hurt my back gardening. Here are my symptoms. A very sharp pain in the lower righthand side of my back. It is painful if I make a quick movement, pivot, or even painful when driving over a bumpy road - it even hurts if I cough.
I am currently taking aleve and it has provided some relief. I do not experience numbness or any other issue.
How can I tell the difference of a muscle strain, ligament, and a bulging disk? I would like to first try some self-help remedies before seeing my doctor. Is ice or heat recommended? Should i start doing stretches? When should I start seeing some improvement? Any other advice?
