Hello,

Welcome to the site and thanks for your question.

When the physician prescribed the antibiotic for the sinus infection, did he also order a urinalysis?

I think it's a good idea to have a urinalysis run. The infection may just have been starting and you didn't have symptoms at the time. Just a coincidence.

I did do a home UTI test and it was negative

Those aren't but so good. Another possibility is the beginnings of a genital infection such as a prostate problem.Even though you don't have discharge, there is also the possibility of an STD.

I wish it were possible to give you a diagnosis, but that can't be done without testing to see if it is an infection and what kind of infection.

Best regards,

Schuyler
