I was walking the dog. Slipped on gravel and full body face

Customer Question

I was walking the dog. Slipped on gravel and full body face planted, with both arms forward. My left shoulder hurt. We kept walking and it began to hurt more. I can lift it in all directions
, but it is painful. Not moving the pian is less, but still there. I am icing it currently.

Hello ---

Based on your injury description it sounds that you should be checked -- ER --- tonight ...

Possible rotator cuff tear ( very likely from your history )

I could not rule out a possible arm fracture even ....

Ice / ANTI-INFLAMMATORY medicine ( ALEVE 2 tablets twice a day ) to start would be fine but I do think that you should be checked for your injuries ...

Head / neck injury possible too it sounds

I hope that this information is helpful for you

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns

I will be happy to get back with you

If my answer has been helpful and to your satisfaction then please remember to leave positive feedback

Thank you and Best Regards,

Thank you. My arm just has gravel burn mark, my neck is fine. Will head there as the pain has not decreased with ice.
