I've recently been experiencing a strange gurgling/bubbling

Customer Question

I've recently been experiencing a strange gurgling/bubbling feeling on the left side of my body below my rib cage. This has been accompanied by diarrhea on the regular.
I was worried that it may be my lung as I used to be a smoker. I smoked light to moderate, (A pack or two in a week) from 18-25. I quit smoking a while ago though. I am Male 28 5'7 220lbs. (I am overweight). I have no shortness of breath, no pain, no cough. Just the random gurgling in the aforementioned location.

Hello,

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question.

It isn't your lung. They don't gurgle. What kind of "cleanse" are you using?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I tried just a generic detox from GNC

What's in it?

How long have you been using it?

http://www.gnc.com/GNC-Preventive-Nutrition-Complete-Body-Cleansing-Program/product.jsp?productId=34894356 this is what I was using. But honestly I didn't finish it.

I used it for maybe a week and I didn't keep up with it.

Still, it was enough to upset your intestinal tract and cause diarrhea. Our bodies don't need detoxing or cleansing. They are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves.

You should be fine in a few days as your digestive system gets back to normal. The gurgling is just gas.
