Thank you for your question.
I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.
I am sorry for your health condition.
There can be a few factors which can cause the burning & numb feeling.
Nerve impingement can cause it.
It can occur in the spine, in the limb.
Diabetes, neuropathy, thyroid diseases can cause it.
Deficiency states like vitamin B deficiencies like B12/B6 can be a factor.
As it occurred after an activity, pinched nerve is more likely
I would suggest to consult your doctor for an evaluation.
You may need tests like NCV, scan, metabolic panel etc.
Meanwhile, please avoid activity which worsens it, smoking, alcohol if you take any.
Please take plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, fluid.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
