My doctors can't seem to find out what is causing TIA

Customer Question

My doctors can't seem to find out what is causing TIA symptoms. It usually happens when I am on a long, hot walk. So I'm not going to do that anymore.
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I only take Plavix and I was also diagnosed with sleep apnea, so I'm getting a CPAP in a couple of weeks.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No,I've been to 4 neurologists and also to MAss General and they still can't pinpoint it.

You need an ultrasound of the carotid arteries.

Also of the heart.

Clots could be in either location causing TIAs.
