I have abrasions on my labia minora due to chaffing of my

Customer Question

I have abrasions on my labia minora due to chaffing of my pantry liner. My husband thinks that I am cheating
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I haven't seen a doctor because this has happened before and healed on its own. I just got off my period and I use tampons and pads. I have a very heavy flow. The only medication I take currently is adipex
JA: How long have you been dealing with this issue? Are you in any pain?
Customer: It began to become irritated on Tuesday. There was stinging when I wiped and showered. I did not notice I had abrasions until my husband saw them.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Doctor about your situation and then connect you two.

How many abrasions are there?

How large?

Is there any ulcer or blister formation?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Small ones on each side. No ulcer or blister formation
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I also used super plus tampons. There is one abrasion towards the inside of my vagina

Thank you for all the information,
Abrasions can occur on labia from friction with rough object.
As there is no blister or ulcer, herpes is unlikely.
A swab can be taken for test.
You can apply neosporin cream on them.
It will prevent infection & healing will be earlier.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.

you can clinically tell me that tampons and panytliners can cause these abrasions? I just want to be able to tell my husband this. He believes I had sex with someone and this is the only way to receive these types of abrasions.

I wasn't finished

Sorry, clinically it is not possible to pinpoint which object caused the abrasion.
A rough object, an elastic band moving back & forth or even itching with fingers can can cause abrasion.
