Hello my c e a count has gone from 1to 6 and a half since my last blood test 3 months ago I had a bowell opp 18months ago followed by 6 months of chemo which ended in aug15 I've been fine since but am now concerned what does the increase mean thank you

Liver, gall bladder, pancreas, stomach inflammation can also increase the level.

Inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease can be a factor too.
