Hello, None of these will cause palpitations, sweating, etc. Normal cardiac enzymes means it definitely wasn't a heart attack. Non-cardiac palpitations can be caused by stress or anxiety, caffeine, nicotine, some asthma and cold medications, high fever, and some hormonal changes associated with menstruation, pregnancy or menopause. What did they suggest at the ER (other than following up with your primary care provider, of course)? Best regards, ***** *****~
