Can contaminated medical tool as transvaginal ultrasound

Customer Question

can contaminated medical tool as transvaginal ultrasound transmit genital HPV

Hello,

Chances of HPV transmission in such conditions are very less.

As every time transvaginal probe use,it is cleaned with antiseptic swab and new condom is used before inserting probe inside vagina for examination.

Even radiologist wears new sterile gloves while performing the procedure.

So this is not the case to get HPV infection,it's rare to say.

Hope this helps.
