Customer Question

Hi, I currently have tingling/burning of my hands feet and calves. Went through series of tests 8 months ago. Blood work, CAT scan, MRI.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I had a black out experience, which was a little scary, but after being tested nothing was found to be abnormal. Had slight tingling that accompanied the black out. Tingling has gotten worse over time and has advanced to burning
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Health Professionals generally expect a deposit of about $32 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Thank you for your question.

I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.

Did you consult any specialist?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi Doctor Saha
I went to my Family Doctor, and was referred to a Neurologist, who then ordered a many tests. Blood work came back with everything in normal range. Then ordered the CAT, which was normal, and then an MRI which was also normal. Burning has just started to get to the annoying stage.
I work 3-12 hour shifts on my feet, by the end of the third Its pretty uncomfortable.

Did doctor prescribe any medicine?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, everything tested out normal, and no prognosis. Was waiting for something to present a second time. The tingling was minor at the time, so was kind of written off in the process. They did do an EKG also.

Thank you for all the information,

The doctors tested for neuropathy, nerve impingement or other nerve diseases.

Those are the usual causes for such symptoms.

As the symptoms are recurring, I would suggest to take an examination by neurologist again.

Sometimes, no cause can be found too after all those testing.

Symptomatic management with gabapentin, lyrica can be done.

Calcium, vitamin supplements can be helpful to correct any deficiency state.

Neurologist may take other tests like EMG, NCV if he feels necessary.

I hope this information helps.

If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
