Hello,
Thank you for your question.
I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.

The blood pressure level considered to be a crisis is any level of 180 / 110 mm Hg.or above.

Your systolic blood pressure or the upper number is ***** high.

At this level the risk of complications like stroke, heart attack etc. from hypertension is increased.

I would suggest to consult doctor without delay or go to ER if it remains at this level.

Other blood pressure medicines from different group can be added.

Often water pills or diuretic is added.

This help to minimize the risk of side effects from increasing doses of one medicine.

Often combination of medicines help.

I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.

I feel better already! Thank you.

ElanorTracy, CA

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.

John and StefanieTucson, AZ

I have been dealing with an extremely serious health crisis for over three years, and one your physicians asked me more questions, gave me more answers and encouragement than a dozen different doctors who have been treating me!!
