I've had inguinal hernia for 10 years now since back in 2005. I was moving a safe from the basement ( well at the time I was working for a moving company ) I was pulling so much that all I can remember was feeling this pinch I've never had felt before in my lower area....tried to show no pain cause I as trying to tough it out but the next da I felt this lump down by my abdomen and i noticed my left testicle was swollen due to a part of my intestine sliding down the hole where my left testicle was and it felt weird and indeed it was embarrassing I was too afraid that i might end up loosing my left testicle so I went untreated for that here it is 2016 and I want to get something done about question is will I loose my left testicle due to this matter after 10 years can it be saved by any chance...plz I would like to know....

No, you won't loose the testis. In hernia surgery (even for very long standing hernia), testis is neither damaged nor removed. So no worry.

The hernia also does not damage the testes. Even an hernia of long duration does not harm testes. So you won't loose it.
