I have a 7month old who is breastfeed but last night I went

Customer Question

I have a 7month old who is breastfeed but last night I went to a party and had some methamphetamines. My baby will not take a formula bottle. She only wants the breast even though I wont give it to her. I don't want my baby not to eat but no matter what I offer her she only wants the breast and I'm not sure if breastfeeding her is safe as I toke the drug last night/early this morning. What should I do? Please help

Please do NOT breast feed for at least a couple days

Dangerous levels can be detectable in breast milk at least for 48 hors, and in fact some tests show it takes up to 100 hr ( just over 4 days) to be completely undetectable - although levels are lower after 48 hrs.

Your best option is to keep trying formula.

Good luck
