Hello,

This is called menorrhagia in medical language
Excessive bleeding in amount and duration or both comes under menorrhagia.
Menorrhagia can be caused by Fibroid uterus,Adenomyosis,,Pelvic endometriosis, due to disturbed hormonal balance, hypertension, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism,Blood clotting disorders,Emotional upset.
The important investigations include hemoglobin estimation to rule out anemia,Ultrasound to look for any uterine pathology.

Also Thyroid hormones need to be checked.

You can take Motrin and do warm compresses on pelvic and lower abdomen.

It's good to see your gynecologist in next few days for prompt management.

If you have any further query then we can discuss it thoroughly rather than give us poor/bad service.
We are here to help you until you satisfy.
Bonus and positive feedback are highly appreciated.
Thanks.
