Customer Question

I had a clear brain MRI in August. I've been having headings and a lot of anxiety related stress because of thinking I have a brain tumor. Is it possible that I could have a brain tumor that has grown in the past 3 months? I am so scared. I saw a neurologist and he prescribe anxiety meds and I am not satisfied!

Hi Renata.

First off no brain tumor would grow so quickly as to be causing headaches in just four months

Second if a brain tumor were causing headaches there would be other symptoms like vision changes, balance problems, numbness in an arm or a leg, etc.

95% of all headaches are painful but benign--either tension headaches, cluster headaches or migraines

So really there's not reason for you to be worried about a brain tumor
