Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Given the left side location, heart problem should be ruled out first.

EKG, cardiac markers can be ordered by your GP easily.

If they are normal, then not concerning.

This is likely then pinched nerve related pain.

Intercostal nerves supply the area.

Chiropractic therapy will help in that case along with anti inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen 800 mg 3 times daily with food.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
