Hi, I'm Dr Chaithanya, General Physician attending you today.

From how long you have been taking pain medicines?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The pain meds about 5years or so I was on soma but new pain Doctor said I shouldn't be on it that long because it's bad for my liver now I hear. The same thing about zanaflex a friend gave me a 2mg. ER Zanex and my pain meds I had very little pain but the doctor does not believe or something the muscle relaxers do nothing.

There are various treatments of pain medication which are specifically based on the individual by a pain doctor. Thet start with simple pain medications, anti depressants anti convulsants, narcotics, and then comes the non-medical therapy of nerve blocks, Radiofrequency ablation, Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, Trigger point Injection, Pain pace makers, etc.

Now you are in a stage of taking pain killers and anti-depressants. Consult with your pain doctor about moving to next step of treatment if the present treatment is not working
