Customer Question

I have a dull pain that goes from my hip to my foot only on the left side, feels like a deep pain, not like a muscle pain but like it is down deeper than that. Nothing really makes it worse but nothing makes it better either and when it gets like this it last about 12-24 hrs at a time

I understand your concern.

As per your description, possible etiology is nerve impingement in lumbosacral spine while passing through it.

You should undergo X-ray/MRI of spine and nerve conduction velocity test.

You should do warm compresses with a heating pad and massage the area with diclofenac sodium ointment.

You should take OTC Advil.

Consult your doctor for a clinical exam and physical therapy.
