Last night I began to have pain upon taking a deep breath.

Customer Question

last night I began to have pain upon taking a deep breath. Only upon taking a deep breath. No shortness of breath. Today I began to experience a feeling that I would faint if I bend even slightly forward. Don't know if the two are related. Have never experienced anything like this before.

Where exactly was the pain located?

And can you explain to me what exactly you mean by a feeling that you would faint?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Pain is in diaphragm area. And by feeling faint I feel cold and clammy and a bit lightheaded. I change position (straighten up) and those symptoms subside.

Any heart palpitations? And any medical conditions and medications?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No heart palpitations. And only condition is history of anxiety/panic attacks for which I take Atenolol and Celexa. I am also overweight.

OK. This could be just from your anxiety but there's a possibility that you're anemic and that's what's causing the faint feeling. And with the pain where you described it you could have a peptic ulcer that's been bleeding

So I suggest you see your doctor about this and get some blood work
