Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

CSWS is a rare condition associated with sleep time seizure activities affecting one side of the brain.

The high dose prednisolone is supposed to control the seizure activities significantly.

Headache, chest pain can be the side effects of prednisolone commonly.

However the twitchings of face and arms can be due to the seizure activities as well.

Hence, this needs to be discussed with his neurologist.

High dose benzodiazepine like clonazepam can be added to control the twitchings.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
