My daughter who is 31 is having stomachs pains, and can't

Customer Question

My daughter who is 31 is having stomachs pains, and can't keep anything including water down. She does not have a fever. This has been since about 3:00 am this morning. Wondering if we should take her to emergency or is there a flu going around with these symptoms.

Hi. It would be best to take her to the ER for two reasons--

By now she's significantly dehydrated and will likely need rehydration with IV fluids and something for the nausea

But with abdominal pains this could be more than just a virus--it could be appendicitis

So I have to say, if I were her doctor and you and I were on the phone right now, I'd say I'd meet you in the ER
