Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

You meant gram positive staphylococci.

This is a type of skin bacteria which infect the skin wounds.

These bacteria are acquired from the environment.

But sometimes, they can get inside the skin causing serious infection.

You ulcer will get better by treating the infection well.

This is fully treatable with antibiotics like clindamycin, bactrim, or levofloxacin.

Are you on antibiotic now?

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.
