Got up this morning, started to gag after taking my cpap

Customer Question

Got up this morning, started to gag after taking my cpap mask off. Gagged so hard that I felt a sharp pain on my right side. Been hurting all day. When I take a deep breath or cough, feel a very sharp pain. Pulled muscle ?

Yes, it probably is a pulled muscle from all the gagging. Warm compresses and a mild pain reliever like acetaminophen or ibuprofen (if there are no contraindications for you) should help. It should feel better by tomorrow, and gradually improve. It is doesn't feel better in a day or two, your regular medical provider should have a look at it.
