Customer Question

I'm having a sharp pain below/behind my ear. It comes intermittently for a few seconds (almost like a shock). It lasts a few seconds and then goes away. I wince when it happens. I haven't noticed any other symptoms.

Hi. This could be an infection of the mastoid bone behind your ear or it could be what's called an icepick headache which is similar to a brief migraine headache. The best thing to do is have a doctor evaluate it.
