Annie. I am a 29 year old female mother of 5 with one

Customer Question

Hi there Annie.
I am a 29 year old female mother of 5 with one miscarriage. I had a tubal ligation 6 weeks after my 5th baby was born. He is 3 now. I had my last menstrual period about 2.5 weeks ago and last night our of the blue I had some very minor bleeding followed by cramps and some bloody discharge this morning. Any chance this could be implantation bleeding??

Hi. Have your periods been regular over the past several months?

Within a day or two.

OK This isn't likely to be implantation bleeding with the tubal ligation but it is at the right time for that and so a pregnancy test wouldn't be positive for another 10 days or longer. More likely this is just a hormonal flux unrelated to pregnancy but I would suggest you have your doctor check things out
