I have a persistent pain in right side of Adam's apple; 2-3 weeks. No obvious swelling and just a little tender to the touch. But hurts when I swallow. Feels like "external cartilage" rather than "inside" my throat if guy understand that

Hi. This sounds like you have an inflammation of one end of the hyoid bone that crosses that area. Nothing too serious and it responds to ibuprofen but you should have a doctor take a look at it
