I have noticeable twitching in my inner elbow area-you can

Customer Question

I have noticeable twitching in my inner elbow area-you can actually see the movement for over an hour now. Before this happened I was leaning on the coach on the same elbow but this is the first time something like this has happened. Should I be concerned with Parkinsons or ALS?

Thank you for your question.

I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.

This can be due to irritation of nerve.

ALS produces fasciculation which would need a physical examination.

It does not seem to be Parkinson's disease.

There occurs tremor of hands.

As you were leaning on the same elbow, there can be pressure on nerve.

You can massage the part, apply warm compress.

Please try to drink plenty of fluid, gatorade.

Dehydration is often a factor.

If the symptom continues or repeat, I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.

I hope this information helps.

If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.

If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
