I have constant pain on my left side at my hip bone,

Customer Question

I have constant pain on my left side at my hip bone, especially the part that juts out at my pelvic bone. I have no bowel or uti symptoms. It is dull and throbbing that does not seem to subside at any particular position. I am a little nauseous but wonder if that is due to the pain. I feel feverish, but it does not register above normal.

Thank you for your question.

I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.

There seems to be an inflammation or infection.

It can in the urinary tract.

urinary symptom can be minimum.

Nausea, feverish feeling can be associated with it.

Colitis, soft tissue infection or inflammation needs to be ruled out too.

I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.

An ultrasound examination, blood count, urine tests can be taken.

You can take tylenol for pain.

Warm application can help.

Please take plenty of fluid.
I hope this information helps.
